I am 3 weeks into recovery from my tummy tuck. As background, I delivered my children via C Sections. The scaring, scar tissue were very unsightly and created problems for me throughout my adult life. Add to it the years of weight gain and now due to my dramatic weight loss only compounded my problem. The flabby skinn, the fit of my clothes, how I felt about myself, my self esteem; ladies you get the picture. If you are a mom, you 100% understand what I am referring to. I finally decided to do something about it, did my research and found Dr. Yates. He was recommended to me by a close friend. To say that I am overjoyed is an understatement!!! The pre visit, the day of surgery, the post-surgery treatment, the facilities, the professionalism of everyone involved was truly professional and were a pleasure to work with. There was no judgement by any of his staff, and during my pre visit consultation, he was positive that he could help me with my identified problem. He nor his staff ever tried to upsell me on any additional procedures. They understood what I wanted to have accomplished, how I wanted it to look. They walked me through the entire process, end to end. What a pleasure!!! The post surgical experience, let me say this. I did not take ANY narcotics for pain management. I only took Tylenol and by the 5th day after surgery, I was off of ALL Pain meds. If I ever decide to have additional cosmetic surgeries, if any of my friends need cosmetic surgery, I will 10,000% recomend Dr. Yates, Hands down!!! Thank You for making what I presumed was going to be an embarrasing, unbearable situation a beautiful outcome. Today, Dr. Yates, you were correct, the tears that I had in my eyes at the 3 week post surgical visit were definitely Happy Tears, Tears of Joy!!!!. Thank You for everything!!!September 10, 2025
Dr. Yates and his staff were amazing from day one. From the first day I met them in person at my consultation they were so friendly and welcoming. I was able to address all my concerns with Dr. Yates and he made sure I understood what would be expected, made sure I had realistic expectations with my breast augmentation and helped me pick out the right implants for me. He was so personable and his bedside manner was amazing. One of my favorite things was the fact that he made me well aware of what the procedure would change for me, and it really helped me understand my frame and how the same implants won’t look the same on every body. Overall I would absolutely recommend Dr. Yates. I have absolutely no complaints with anything and I am three weeks post op!!!September 5, 2025
I had the most amazing experience with Dr. York Yates & his staff. I traveled from out of state to him, based on lots of referrals where I live. I am on day 2 recovery of an implant exchange from ruptured breast implants from a previous plastic surgeon. The process was so simple and I am recovering so well, even with removing ruptured implants. I have hardly any swelling or pain post op. I will be going to Dr. York Yates for everything in the future. After a disappointing experience with a previous plastic surgeon, meeting Dr. Yates and his team was a breath of fresh air. They were knowledgeable, professional and focused on my comfort, never trying to upsell me. Went in with a rupture. The whole team was exceptional. I felt genuinely cared for. I'm still on the mend, but so far they look better than ever, and I was pretty happy with what I originally had.
