Dr. Yates Reviews

I was 12 the first time I asked my mom for a breast augmentation. Silly, I know, but; all of my friends were developing and I just wasn't. As a result I was heavily picked on, I was tall, skinny, and flat as a pancake. When I finally started to develop my hips developed a lot better than my breasts. I was absolutely convinced I looked like a pear and hated it! However, I did modeling and beauty pageants as a teen and that greatly helped my self-esteem, yet still; I wasn't 100% comfortable with my appearance. Oddly enough, I felt the best about my appearance when I was nursing my daughter, despite the "mommy pooch." I was informed after I had my daughter that I had developed diastatis recti (the separation of abdominal muscles) and despite my best efforts I would always have the mommy pooch. My daughter was 10 when I woke up and decided that I was tired of hating what I saw when I looked in the mirror. I was tired of wearing baggy clothes or control top yoga pants all the time. After speaking with several cosmetic surgeons I decides to see Dr. York Yates. He, and his staff, are absolutely amazing. Before and after surgery care and contact is better than any other doctor I have ever been to. I do not have enough good things to say about this man. I am a Nail Technician, by trade, and I tell all of my clients who are considering any cosmetic surgery that they should go to my doctor. I cannot tell you the amount of times I have given out Dr. Yates' phone number or pulled up his website for my clients to look at. I don't think I will ever be able to accurately articulate the extremely profound gratitude I have for this man. For the first time, since I was too young to understand body image, I am truly happy with what I see in the mirror.

Though my meetings with Dr. Yates did feel a little rushed, I still felt that he was very personable and professional. I didn't have much time to get to know him and yet I still trusted that he would do a phenomenal job. I am very pleased with my results at this point, only being 2 days post-op and the recovery has been going very well so far. He must not have been overly intrusive because the pain has been very manageable even taking lower dosages of meds. I cannot wait to see the results when the implants settle.. then I think they will be absolutely perfect! I was worried about sizing but he was able to ease my fears and consider my opinion while also including his so that we came to a conclusion together on the lost natural look for my body type. Overall, working with Dr. Yates and his staff was a pleasant and very exciting experience!

He didn't rush me and was so very patient and thorough answering my multitudes of questions. He didn't push me into anything I didn't want. He just really made me feel like a person and was very calming. Also, as an added bonus, he's pretty easy on the eyes!! 🙂 They took me into the operating room and the anesthesiologist (who was also amazing and kind) turned on some music. Loved that!! The whole operating staff were so cheery and nice!! It was just awesome. Let's get to the results! When I got to my hotel room, I took my bra off to see my new additions and was stunned. They are already beautiful. I can only imagine how perfect they'll be in 6 months!! Dr. Yates did amazing work. Absolutely amazing. Thank you to Dr. Yates and his staff!! I'll definitely be back for more!!
