I like Perky Butts and I Cannot Lie

butt lift The Kardashians have made having a nice sized buttocks extremely popular among young women everywhere. Where it used to be more desirable to have a smaller buttocks, larger ones are all of the rage. If you don’t have the perfectly shaped asset that you desire, then you should consider getting a butt augmentation surgical procedure done. Read on to learn more.

What is buttocks augmentation, BBL or Brazilian Butt Lift?
There are different types of buttocks augmentation procedures that can be performed to give you the shape and size of buttocks that you’ve always desired. However, here at York Yates, we like to use the fat grafting approach. By using fat grafting, we can add volume to the buttocks and gluteal region. Additionally, liposuction can be used to help reduce and reshape the buttocks and then the additional fat that was removed can be re-harvested into certain regions of your buttocks, giving you the best results possible.

What is the surgery like?
During a buttocks augmentation surgery using fat grafting, you will be under anesthesia the entire time— meaning that you won’t remember or feel a thing until you are well into recovery. During the actual procedure, a small incision will be made into your buttocks or hip and excess fat will be scraped and suctioned out. Once the fat has been suctioned out, some of it will be re-harvested into other regions of your buttocks in order to reshape it and give it the look that you desire.

What is recovery like?
Once you are out of surgery, you will be immediately sent to recovery where you will be closely monitored for a day or two. Once deemed safe to go home, you will be required to not sit on your buttocks for at least a few weeks. In fact, you will be encouraged to either stand up or lay down on your side in order to eliminate any sort of added pressure to your buttocks region.

If you either don’t have much of a buttocks or if your buttocks has lost its shape and form then you should consider getting a buttocks augmentation. To learn more or to schedule an appointment, contact our office today!
